Beacon's Steve Collins takes on the Sarn Helen Trail
Our Beacon colleague Steve is in hard training to take on this mammoth challenge to raise money for Piam Brown.
The Piam Brown Ward is the Wessex Paediatric Oncology Centre of Southampton General Hospital, treating all types of childhood cancer in the age range of a day old to eighteen years of age.
Steve's daughter received treatment at this centre and he wants to give something back by supporting this extremely worthwhile cause.
'Sarn Helen Trail' ....two hundred and seventy miles of pedal pushing pain over Snowdonia, across the Brecons on rough, sometimes indiscernible trails and climbing in excess of 8000 metres along the way
