Paramount's New Retail Brand 'Hannaford's' Wins Another Fish Pie Award!
Florentine Fish Pie under the Retail Brand "Hannaford's" has just been awarded a prestigious Gold Award in the 2007 Great Taste Awards run by the Guild of Fine Food.
"The Hannaford's Florentine Fish Pie is available in a variety of different sizes, Makro are selling it in a 1kg pack size as a family meal and sales on this line are exceeding all expectations", said Francesca Johnson, Paramount's Commercial Manager.
Paramount are also selling their Florentine Fish Pie into Foodservice as a 400g unit under their Catering Brand Paramount, and this is available to all caterers and end users through the majority of frozen food wholesalers in the UK.
"This is a wonderful product made with 16% Devon Milk and 14% Devon Cream. It is totally additive free, with no artificial colourings, flavourings or preservatives. The Florentine Fish Pie is made with Salmon, Smoked Haddock and King Prawns with wilted spinach folded into a beautiful creamy sauce, the whole dish is then topped with a creamy mashed potato. Anyone would be thrilled to have this either on their menu or served up at home," said Francesca Johnson, Paramount's Commercial Manager.
This is the second award for a fish pie that Paramount have won in 2007, the last award being their Luxury Fish Pie which was voted Best New Seafood Product in Foodservice at the 2007 at the Seafoods Awards held in London.
