RICC awarded AIM SILVER accreditation under the Meetings Industry Association’s

The Riviera International Conference Centre, Torquay, (RICC) was awarded an AIM SILVER accreditation under the Meetings Industry Association's (MIA) own venue accreditation scheme. AIM is the accreditation scheme for the meetings industry and is fully endorsed by VisitBritain. It is designed to improve standards and quality throughout the conference and meetings industry in all types of venues and will therefore assist conference organisers throughout the UK in sourcing the very best venues, suppliers and services with this industry.
The venue, in Torquay, was externally assessed and passed the stringent AIM silver criteria with flying colours.
Barry Cole explains: "This award is extremely important to us and is widely revered nationally; there are not many venues within the UK that have achieved such a high accolade which is why we are so proud. This accreditation reinforces the views expressed by our clients of a venue with total commitment to the success of their events"
Conference Torquay Bureau Manager Nicky Harding is delighted to share in the recognition of the RICC as an outstanding venue.
"As a venue finding service for the English Riviera, we place a range of events in venues as diverse as the purpose built RICC, 4 star hotels, Dartmouth Royal Naval College and other exceptional venues. Adding this AIM accreditation to one of the venues in our portfolio will make the English Riviera, as a conference destination, even more attractive" download and print story
