Water Babies Ltd are awarded Beacon Company status
Water Babies was formed in 2002, inspired by Paul Thompson the founder and his wife Jess. Paul and Jess grew the business so successfully they decided to bring Steve Franks on board to enable them to make the transition from an entrepreneurial family business with enormous growth potential , into a professional and corporate entity.
The passion and enthusiasm of all involved was infectious and since then, Water Babies has grown to become the world's largest baby swimming company, teaching more than 24,000 children each week.
Their vision is to be 'the leading provider of world class aquatic teaching standards and activities for babies and pre-school aged children.'
Water Babies is now:

- the world's largest commercial baby swimming company
- teach circa 25,000 babies and toddlers a week in more than 400+ pools
- has classes across the UK, as well as in Ireland and Sydney, Australia
- is the world's largest producer of underwater baby photography 72,000 shots taken in the last 12 months
